Wendy was a Judge for the American Elegance Princess Pageant that was held in Illinois. Each year, girls from toddlers to young teen compete for a national title. The girls are divided into age ranges and judges in different categories like evening gown, fun fashion, and stage presence.
At the middle of the month, Wendy attended the Miss Plus World Pageant in Atlanta, Georgia. As Ms. Plus Intercontinental 2021, Wendy was honored to be awarded Miss Plus World Ambassador title for the work that she continues to do for the Miss Plus World pageant system as a brand ambassador and resource for the reigning titleholders. In addition to the Miss Plus World Pageant, the Regent’s Guild also held their banquet at the event. Wendy was honored to be awarded the title of Regent Exemplar Elite with the Regents Guild for the volunteer service that she does with pageant systems though out the year.
Runway Model at the Korean American Association’s (KAAC) Korean Fest in downtown Chicago’s Millennium – Maggie Daley Park. Wendy modeled modern hanbok designs by Hoya Seoul (based in Korea) for Oh Happy Day Events. This open festival was a celebration of Korean culture, fashion, food, and music. A wonderful event celebrating the 120th anniversary of Korean immigration to the United States.
The end of the month Wendy received another honor by being asked to represent the Plus USA Pageant system as the inaugural “Majestic” queen. This is a new pageant system for plus size women in the United States. Wendy will reign till their national pageant that will be held in August of 2024. https://www.instagram.com/plususa_official
